Installation and Connection of Ball Screw Nut and Flange
The connection between the ball screw nut and flange depends on the structural design of the nut. The common scenarios are as follows:
1. Integrated Nut and Flange
In most cases, the nut and flange of the ball screw assembly are integrated, so no additional connection is required. In some cases, threads may be machined on the nut body, allowing the flange to be connected via threading. If the nut is already equipped with a flange, simply fasten it to the flange of the nut seat using bolts.
2. Nut Without Flange
If the nut does not come with a flange, check whether there are keyways or external threads on its surface. In this case, the nut can be connected to the nut seat using keys or locknuts. The nut usually comes with threaded holes, which can be fastened to the workpiece using bolts.
Common connection methods include:
Fastening the nut flange to the nut seat with bolts
Inserting the nut into the nut seat and securing it with a key
Screwing the nut directly into the threads of the nut seat
In addition to ball screws, we also supply lead screws, linear guideways, linear modules, and ball splines. Feel free to contact us for more information!
